Texstyles Staff

Ron Melser, founder of Texstyles

From a young age, Ron gained an intuitive understanding of the hospitality industry.

Starting in high school and into college Ron put on an apron as a dish washer, busboy and waiter.

During the completion of his Bachelor’s Degree in International Business (minor in French) at The Ohio State University, Ron gained real world work experience with clothing textiles, tailoring, and customer service while a salesman in the Suit Department at Schottenstein’s /Value City Stores.

Shortly after graduation from OSU, Ron landed a job with the French Textile mill Vlaemycnk SA as their first US Commercial Agent. Marketing to the exigent Textile Rental industry taught Ron how to emphasize quality over price and to readapt products quickly.

After 10 years of importing from France, Ron learned the beauty and power of how a successful company or individual should act as a liaison between the client (end user) and the manufacturing process. Today, this remains an essential component in the DNA of Texstyles with a distinctly Made in USA focus.

Now going on 23 years, Ron along with the dedicated Texstyles team continues to listen carefully and respond to the textile needs of their cherished hospitality clientele.

Jed Ebersole, Regional Manager

Jed joined Texstyles in October of 2014 after spending many years working in the hotel industry. He brings a strong knowledge of the hotel’s operations and also the creativity to help find answers to the questions that current hotel leaders face everyday.
